Aparna Patankar earned her Ph. D in Biotechnology from University of Pune, India, M.S. in Marine Biotechnology from Goa University, Inida and B.S. in Microbiology from University of Mumbai, India. She is a registered patent agent and has extensive post-doctoral research experience in molecular biology and biochemistry.

Jonathan Sip is currently a J.D. candidate from Santa Clara Law School and received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. He is the managing editor of "The Advocate" - the Student News and Literary Publication of SCU Law School. In addition, he is a two-time Boston Marathon finisher.
